Towns and Cities in Mallorca

The unique charm and character of Mallorca's cities and quaint little towns has made this island on the Mediterranean renown for its endless possibilities for excursions, discovery of new landscapes and it's ever incredible beauty.

City centres like Palma and Manacor, offer travellers everything you would expect from a metropolitian city - cafes, fine dining, a bustling nightlife, art galleries and museums. As you move into the outskirts, you will find a rural atmosphere with all the characteristics of its personality totally intact - hundred year-old olive and almond trees perched on terraced hillsides, bustling fishing ports and ruined watchtowers crowning hilltops.

Mallorca also features a notorius variety of landscapes, the mountains of the Tramuntana skirt around a vast central plain, and a marvellous succession of seaside clifs cliffs lead to hidden coves, bays, and sandy beaches.

Palma is also becoming known for its chic boutique hotels. One of the best is the Hotel Tres, half 16-th century palazzo, half modern build, the two sides separated by a courtyard that's sheltered by a towering 100-year-old palm tree. The roof terrace, with its 360-degree views, is an ideal spot to see the sun go down behind the mountains and watch the boats in the harbour.
