Flights to Mallorca
 

Mallorca's international airport, Son Sant Joan Airport lies 8km east of Palma. In recent years, Mallorca has become such a popular destination that most airlines now fly directly to the island. The cheapest flights tend to be from Barcelona and Valencia and it is likely that you will be able to zero in on good deals during the low season which is between October and February.

Low cost airlines such as EasyJet and RyanAir operate directly to Palma. Other airlines that fly into Palma de Mallorca include:
Air Europa
Flies from Malaga and Madrid.

Iberia

Airport Transit
From the airport, bus no. 1 takes you to Placa Espanya,  the center of Palma. Hours of operation are from 5:30am to 2:15pm daily and the cos for a one way trip is 1.80€. A metered cab will cost you approximately 20€ for a 20 minute drive into Palma's city center.

Airport Tax
A departure tax applies when flying out of Spain, but this is normally included in the price of the ticket.
