Mallorca's climate is typically Mediterranean, with warm average temperatures in the summer and winter mildness that rarely drifts below zero, making it the perfect location for city breaks all year round.
Mallorca averages 300 days of sunshine in a year. There is, however, a higher chance for mildly cold and wet weather from October to February so a beach holiday in Mallorca in October may not be the most ideal, although it's perfectly fine for walking and cycling inland. With the rain in October and November, known as the winter's spring, the landscape changes and many plants burst into life sprouting leaves, even blooming. In the Autumn there is still a very good chance of seeing the sunshine for many days.
July and August are high season for Mallorca so be sure you arrive on the island with a reservation. The water temperature in the Balearics from June to October are comfortable for those looking for a beach holiday.
