Sightseeing Walks in Palma

The best way to experience the history and architecture of Palma's most beautiful and rustic parts, is to be led by a local on foot. Palma's tourist board (INESTUR ) organizes a selection of 9 cultural and historical guided tours of Palma. From its rustic ramparts to the old Jewish quarter, intriguing stories of Mallorca's fascinating past are interestingly revealed to you by the multi-lingual guides who accompany you through the warren of old narrow streets throughout this ancient city.

As you are taken through the quiet, secluded streets of Palma's old town, you will discover the rich heritage of its buildings, palaces, churches and courtyards. From the periphery of Palma's ancient city walls, to Palma's most iconic building, the La Seu Cathedral, your guide will uncover hidden truths about the city that, well, only a local would know.

Some of the other attractions you may encounter on your tour include a walk through Plaza Cort, Palma's oldest square, a visit to Santa Eulalia church and San Francisco church and a stroll along Palma's oldest street. Walking tours last approximately 2 hours and run at various times of the day throughout the year
