If you are looking for something a little faster and better smelling than a mule, the city of
Palma de Mallorca has a pretty efficient bus transport system operated by the Empresa Municipal de Transports, which you will often see abbreviated as EMT. Most buses out of
Palma leave from the Placa d'Espanya and you can pick up a timetable from the tourist information kiosk at the station.
Bus Routes
Upon landing at Palma Airport, if you want to get to Palma's city centre, the simplest and most reasonable way of doing this is to catch the Palma Airport Bus, the Line 1 bus which runs every 15 minutes between the airport and the centre of Palma. The first bus runs at 06:10am and the last bus departs at 01:10am.
If you think you will be doing a lot of traveling around Palma by bus, it might be worth getting a Bono Bus, like a travel card for buses, which can be used on most buses within Palma de Mallorca.
